The first 100 days of the ConDem nation.
How should we judge the administration?
Is everything now fine and dandy?
Or is the Country in calamity?
What have they done to save the day?
Increased tax and cut our pay.
Targeted the ill and unemployed
Whilst banker’s bonuses are still enjoyed.
Electoral promises now discarded,
Pragmatic decisions now regarded
As solutions to the coming storm
No matter that they cause us harm
Promises on Trident deferred
Money wasted on the war
They rather fight the Taliban
Than support the victims in Pakistan.
No new thoughts on the drug problem
Maybe we should just abandon them
Nothing on youth employment or job creation
Nothing to avoid the desolation
Cut the public sector asunder
A policy of rape and plunder
Cast the service workers adrift
And wonder why they’re slightly miffed
If its like this after 100 days
What’s the prospect for the coming years?
More misery laced with doom and gloom
The people treated like mushrooms
